Celeb Style Round - Summer Style Edtion

Hola Fab Folks! If it's Friday, then you know it's time for the Celeb Style Round-up. I'm checking in for Fab Girl Sabrina for this round.

This week, we are focusing on fab summer style. Simple elements that make a cool, chic, summer ensemble. Let's get started:

Latoya Luckett stopped by the Essence.com studios this week to talk about her new projects and partnership with Luster's Smooth Touch hair care line. Photographer, Jennifer Coop, took these stunning pics of Latoya in her cute yet simple summer outfit. White tank + glitzy skirt + sky high red pumps = smart dressing from the R&B singer. She shows it doesn't take much for an award wining outfit.

Next up we have Pop Princess/reality TV star, Brandy, seen walking the streets of sunny California earlier this week. She rocked this cute rainbow, cinch waist summer dress, with peep toe booties. Minus the heavy black bag, Brandy would have scored an A+. I love how she kept it simple with the jewelry; notice she wore a little bracelet which allowed the dress to steal the scene.

One of my favorite plus-size princesses in Hollywood, Amber Riley (Glee, FOX) looked too cute in this Grecian inspired sundress. Paired with simple nude shoes, Amber was ready to grace the red carpet with summer finesse. Once again,wearing a minimal amount of jewelry allows your look to seem effortless.

Last night, model/host, Heidi Klum, arrived at the Project Runway Season 8 premiere party wearing a white hot jumpsuit, cropped tuxedo blazer, and round-toe red pumps. Do you see the trend? Minimal jewelry, simple silhouette, and a pop of color takes a basic outfit to stellar proportions. Loves it!

No more Ugly Betty for America Ferrera! The cute, and NEWLY ENGAGED actress stopped by the Edinburgh Film Fest wearing this asymmetrical Alice+Olivia Dress and snake skin pumps. Said before, say it again, no jewelry makes this outfit work. Oh yeah, a belted waist never hurt any body!

This picture is just a bonus for the ladies! Two of my favorite R&B singers were photographed eating lunch in Montego Bay, Jamaica earlier this week. Chris Brown and Usher held a concert for their island fans and later relaxed over lunch. Nice to see Chris Brown smiling. AND, even the guys were keeping it simple with the jewelry - small diamond chain and simple studs kept the handsome duo looking cool and casual.
