Back in 2010, I wrote an article called "
6 Retail Stores Nashville Needs". That article was might popular because, at the time, Nashville was lacking the retail stores that people from bigger cities were used to seeing. The article included: H&M, Torrid, Aldo, Bloomingdale's, TopShop, and Evans.
Well, what a difference a couple years and a flood makes! Yes, becuase of the flood of 2010, Opry Mills Mall had to close down. Because it closed down, some stores left, leaving space for new stores to arrive. Of those new arrivals, three of the six stores I listed in my article have found a home in Nashville: Torrid (opening fall 2013), Aldo (opened last fall), and now H&M. This location will be one of the largest in the southeast and will
carry the kids line as well as the Plus Size line, H&M+.
That's right, one of the most popular retail brands for
